32nd Sunday of Ordinary Time
Opening Prayer
Lord
Why am I surprised
to find you waiting for me?
What keeps me from thinking
I am good enough for your love?
Help me to see that I am worthy
because you love me.
Help me to remember it was your death
that gives me everlasting life.
I have been a part of you
all of your life,
I want to be a part of you,
all of mine!!!

Challenge for the Week: Stay awake, be ready, for we do not know the day, nor the hour of when God comes…we have all heard this, but isn’t God in our midst right now? This week, spend time contemplating what you can change in your life right now so you live with the awareness that God is present NOW! Are you allowing God to enter in your life today? What obstacles have you created to keep God at a distance? What moments do you allow God into? Are there more moments in which you keep God waiting at the door than embracing his presence? As the creator and giver of all good things, why would you try to keep any part of your life from God?
